Statement of Character Types

A. "Major Supers": Changeling, Demon, Kinain, Kuei-Jin, Possessed, Mage, Mummy, Shifter, Vampire, Wraith
1. A Wraith "Major Super" may learn the "Skinland Affecting" Arcanoi.
2. A Kinain is considered a "Major Super" due to their full interaction with the sphere as opposed to Kinfolk or Ghoul relationships to their sphere.
B. "Minor Supers": Dhampyr, Ghoul, Kinfolk, Psychic, Sorcerer, Thrall, Wraith, Speaker with the Dead
1. A Wraith of this type may learn only "Non-Skinland Affecting" Arcanoi.
2. Dhampyr are part of the Kuei-Jin sphere and should not be confused with other types of Dhampyr.
3. A Speaker with the Dead is a Mortal with the merit by that name. They are capable of both seeing and hearing Wraiths and the Shadowlands.
C. "Domems": Wraith
1. A Wraith of this type is incapable of entering the Shadowlands.
D. "Mortals": Mortal
1. The "Medium" Merit does not classify a Mortal as a super of any variety though it must be approved by Wraith staff.
E. The Character types may also be registered in the following manner:
1. "Major Super" as Type 1.
2. "Minor Super" as Type 2.
3. "Domem" as Type 3.
4. "Mortal" as Type 4.
5. "Staff" as Type 5.
6. "NPC" as Type 6.
7. "Builder" as Type 7.

Rules governing total alts allowed to a single player

A. Players are entitled to one "Major Super".
B. Players are entitled to one "Minor Super".
1. A second "Minor Super" can be taken in place of a "Major Super" but one will be considered to be a "Major Super" and marked as such.
C. Players are entitled to one "Domem" assuming they have no other Wraith character of any type.
D. Players are entitled to as many "Mortals" as they are capable of investing reasonable time toward.
E. A "Mortal" may count as a "Minor Super" if they are "Sphere Related".
1. "Sphere Related" is defined as inclusion in a sphere's political or rank structure even if the "Mortal" does not possess supernatural powers. Example, "Acolytes" of the Mage sphere.
F. At any time that these rules are violated, the player will be forced to choose one of the characters to be unapproved so that the rules are appropriately met.
1. If the player cannot decide, staff will make the decision.

Rules governing Application of Characters

A. The Wizard of each sphere is entitled to accept or deny any application received for any reason.
B. If a pre-existing "Major Super" character exists, this character must be approved for 3 months (RL) prior to any "Minor Super" character's approval.
1. This rule is waved in the event of character death and reapplication.
2. The Wizard governing the "Major Super" character may deny the player a "Minor Super" for another sphere if he or she feels the "Major Super" is not meeting the requirements of his sphere concerning time or participation.
C. "Major Super", "Minor Super", and "Domem" characters may not be part of the same sphere or race/power-variety.
1. A player may not "transfer" into a sphere where he has another pre-existing character of any type. Example, a Vampire player may not have his Mortal become Ghouled.
2. This rule DOES apply to ALL types of Wraith characters.
3. This rule DOES apply to a character with multiple 'types' qualifying as all inclusive spheres. Example, a "Kinfolk Sorcerer" counts as both Shifter and Mage sphere.
4. This rule DOES apply to subspheres including but not limited to "Crime" and "Law" as well.
D. If a pre-existing "Major Super" or "Minor Super" exists prior to the application of a new "Major Super" or "Minor Super" character, the approval of both Sphere wizards is required prior to approval of the new character.
E. One player may not hold multiple characters deemed to be "greater than Tier 1".
1. If a player has a Tier 2 Vampire (Ancilla) he or she may not then apply for a Tier 2 Mortal.
2. This rule does NOT apply to "Domem" .
3. This rule DOES apply to "Mortals" .
F. Applications for characters of all types must follow application guidelines as defined for the sphere by that sphere's Wizard as well as all rules in this document.
G. As always, any member of Staff may not have a character in any sphere for which they Staff. No exceptions.

Miscellaneous Rules governing Multiple Characters

A. Spheres are not required to have applications open for any type of character at any given time.
1. Spheres are subject to character limits based on the number of characters in that sphere.
a. Limits are defined by God Staff.
b. Character "slots" in all spheres are "First come, first served". No exceptions.
2. Wizards are not required to accept applications from any specific character type and may choose to only accept "IC transfers" for those character types.
a. The inverse of this rule is also true.
B. OOC Information believed to have been used by a player will be scrutinized and those found to have abused multiple character rules may be subject to +strike, character removal, or revocation of multiple character priveleges.
1. All players are advised to keep logs for their own personal "CYA". (Cover your ass.)
2. Not having a log will not be considered an excuse.
C. "Major Super" and "Mortal" characters are provided "priority" where it concerns +jobs submitted/answered and scenes run.
D. A player who has received +strikes for use of OOC information IC will be automatically denied the right to multiple characters with the exception of "Domems" and "Mortals".
E. Characters may not be engaged in situations which result in a "Conflict of Interest."
1. A Conflict of Interest is defined as a situation wherein the actions of one of the player's characters may be called into question due to the involvement of another of the player's characters.
2. A player must politely bow out of any situation wherein his or her alt may become involved.
a. The player must make a choice. If the player cannot decide which character to leave involved in the situation, staff will make the decision.
3. Information may not be passed from one alt to another or by proxy.
4. All of the above rules concern both positive and negative interaction between alts and the Spheres of alts. Example, your Demon character cannot be involved in the planning or attack on your Shifter character or your shifter character's enemy.
