Indian Cathayan Terminology

Chi Arts
- Tripranas: The Three Breaths. This refers to Chi Arts in general.
- Sattvaprana: The Sattva Breath. This refers to Equilibrium.
- Rajahprana: The Rajas Breath. This refers to Yang Prana.
- Tamahprana: The Tamas Breath. This refers to Yin Prana.
- Pranakriya: Breath Shaping, Breath Work. This refers to Tapestry.
- Pyungshwee or Cheenakapranakriya: Respectively a Sanskrit realization of the Middle Chinese pronunciation of Feng Shui, and Chinese Breath Working.
Soul Arts
- Manahkriyas: Mind Workings. This refers to Soul Arts in general.
- Svashasana: Self-Punishment. This refers to Cultivation. The same word is used to refer to a practitioner.
- Jnanakshi: Eye of Wisdom. This refers to Chi'iu Muh.
- Yoga: This refers to Internalize.
- Shasana: Like Svashasana, but for other people. This refers to Obligation.
- Mrgashasana: Like Shasana, but for animals. This refers to Beast Shintai.
- Bhavya: This refers to Mibasham. Similar in meaning to the word.
- Daivacinta or Samayavidya: Astrology. This refers to Tzu Wei and uses indian astrological techniques.
Shintai Disciplines
- Divyamurtis: Divine Forms. This refers to Shintai Disciplines in general.
- Asrasya Divyamurti, Asradivyamurti or Shwetshinhyu: The last is a rendering of the Middle Chinese, and is an old form rarely used. This refers to Blood Shintai.
- Asthayah Divyamurti, Asthidivyamurti or Kwotshinhyu: This refers to Bone Shintai.
- Balarajasya Divyamurti, Balarajadivyamurti, and Ngokshinhyu or Gokshinhyu: The last form is for those who can't pronounce the former. This refers to Jade Shintai.
- Kravyadivyamurti, Kravyasya Divyamurti, or Nyukshinhyu: This refers to Flesh Shintai.
- Shochayah Divyamurti, Shochidivyamurti: This refers to Ghost-Flame Shintai.
- (Mogwai: Wow they didn't even bother to pick a real chinese word for this one. Um. I might get back to you later on that. Maybe. More likely if you find a real chinese word associated with the discipline.)
- Dhumakriya: Smoke Working, Smoke Making. This refers to Smoke Shintai.
- Abhrakriya: Storm Working, Storm Making. This refers to Storm Shintai.
Demon Arts
- Adhomukha Kriyas: Upside-Down Arts, so called because the power is said to use the user. This refers to Demon Arts in general.
- Adhomukha Atijava: Upside-Down Incredible Speed. This refers to Black Wind.
- Asuryamurti: Demonic Form. This refers to Demon Shintai.
- Girachalya: Mountain, Immovableness. This refers to Iron Mountain. A practitioner is called Girachala, or mountain-immovable.
- Ratana: Shouting. This refers to Kiai.
